RE:  STB Finance Docket No. 35087





I am writing to the STB in order to explain why my family and I are requesting that your board carefully review and investigate the Canadian National Railway 
purchase of EJ&E.

Having lived in Bartlett, IL. for 10 years I have experienced the following with the EJ&E railway:
	20 minute wait at railroad crossing waiting for a freight train to clear crossing.
	Saw an ambulance delayed for 5 minutes at a crossing waiting for freght train to pass.
	Crossing tracks is like being on a roller coaster due to all the cracks and holes on the tracks.

These are my main reasons why I hope you look carefully into this purchase.  Elemementary schools are across the tracks which may need emergency help that cannot be delayed due to a long train, not to mention the environmental problems for children and adults.

I wish I could have been able to attend one of the meetings that were held on this subject, however my multiple sclerosis prohibited me from being there.  



The train traffic will increase significantely with a Canadian National purchase.  Not to mention freight coming from another country into America,  which could be a problem, not knowing how it is checked,inspected or packed.
